↑Scales is a visual examination of society’s obsessive pursuit of an idealized vision of life—often at the expense of equitable resource distribution. By focusing on the idea of the “unequal exchange” of resources, each illustration highlights the tension between excess and deprivation, abundance and scarcity, privilege and neglect.
